I chose a peaceful colour palette of muted pinks and blues with a little sparkle added with the Moonbeams sequin mix.   Perfect for a thinking of you card.  The sentiment tag is cut using Kennedy Grace Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die set. Hello, everyone! Rachel here today with a brand new card for you featuring my favorite stamp set - Splendid Roses! I started this card by stamping my splendid roses repeatedly across a panel with some black memento ink. I colored them in with my Copics: Yellows - Y08, Y04, Y00, Y000 Greens - YG99, YG97, YG95 Grays - C3, C1, C00 Next up, I cut a piece of Vellum so that it would wrap around my panel from top to bottom (so I could hide my adhesive behind the panel itself). I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink and then heat embossed in gold embossing powder. I also ran the edges of my Vellum across my ink pad and heat embossed that to add just a little more gold detail and help delineate where the Vellum ended. I wrapped the vellum around my card panel and used my tape runner to attach the ends to the back of the panel. I then used some double-sided tape to secure my panel to the front of a top-folding white card base. That's all! Super simple, but defi...

Hello, hello! Erica back on the blog today with a bright, cheery and summery Thank You card. Yep, I'm continuing my thank you card collection. Now, what says summer better than sunflowers? I can't think of many things that score a higher summer score than the lovely sunflower myself so I decided to stamp and mask a few on today's card. I had already decided to use my Zig markers for this card so I used MFT hybrid ink on water colour card stock, I have not had any problems with this ink running or smudging while using my Zig markers on it. The first sunflower  I stamped just off the panel and then I did the same thing on the other side of the panel. Getting my masks out, I covered up the bits I didn't want to overlap and stamped the third one in the middle, slightly lower than the others. Once it was all stamped and ready, it was time to colour! I love this part! It's so much fin to see how it  all starts to come to life and become a small piece of art.... ...

I love using  Kennedy Grace Vintage Tea Cup  stamp set and can say it is my fav' of all the Kennedy Grace Creations Stamps. I love the roses engraved on this beautiful tea pot and cup and enjoy choosing different colors to go together.     I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored it with Copic Sketch Markers in Y11, Y13, Y15, 0, YG06,YG11, BG10, BG11, BG13, C1, C3, C5, and a Multiliner in 0.3. I stamped the border and the cup first using my MISTI tool, and then masked the cup and stamped the tea pot. By setting the pair over a bit, there was plenty of room for the sentiment. Hello, everyone! Rachel here today with a new card featuring the absolutely gorgeous Sweet Rose stamp set! I'm a huge fan of black and white backgrounds, so I cut and folding a card base and then repeatedly stamped my image across the front of it. I cut a piece of cardstock down to the size of the front of the card and then used a stitched edge die to create a piece that I would layer of the top of the base. I stamped yet another rose on top of this, but then used my Copics to color it in (R22, R20, R11, YG17, YG13, YG01, C3, C1, C00). I used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment so that it would be straight (I hate ruining a card at the last second with a crooked sentiment!). I adhered my panel over the top of my base with some foam tape and that was that! Super simple, but it looks striking! Thanks for stopping by! Hello everyone and hello July! Yikes, who else is in total disbelief that we are over halfway through 2017 already?? Come on now, show of hands, I can't be the only one surely? This month I'm going to focus on Thank You notes as we will be moving next month and I want to make sure I say a proper thank you to everyone that already has and those who will be giving us a hand with various tasks as well as have made our time in Denmark lovely. One of my favourite flowers are dark pink peonies and I used these as a colour reference when I did the colouring for this card, even though the stamp itself if technically a rose. Just bear with me on this. As I planned on using my Zig markers again I got my Strathmore Bristol Vellum water colour card stock out and cut a smallish rectangle using a die from Avery Elle which has a cute stitched pattern around the edges. I dusted it generously with my anti-static tool and then stamped the  Just a Rose  on the left side in VersaMark ink ...
