Watercolor Winter Blooms

Today I have a watercolor Thank you card for a friend!

To create my card, I die cut watercolor paper using a stitched rectangle die.

I stamped the flowers from Winter Blooms Stamp Set using Versa Mark Ink and White embossing powder and heated it with my Milwaukee heat tool.

I used Tombow Watercolor markers (the individual marker colors are linked below in supplies), but instead of water I used a Wink of Stella pen to paint the stamped and embossed image. The sentiments is from Mom Forever Stamp set that I heat embossed using Recollections Champaign embossing powder.

I die cut some Sweet Cakes 6x6 Paper with the A2 size stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a white card base. I adhered the watercolored rectangle to the card . I finished the card with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Sweetheart Mix Sequins.

I created for you this really cute hot air balloon card using the Fancy Frames to create the back drop for my card. To create the hot air balloon I cut two circles from to design papers then cut them in form the balloon. Then I punched the white strip to cover up the two halves of the circles. Before adding the white strip to the middle I some DMC floss to make the stings for the basket. I popped the basket up with foam tape for some demention adding a few enamel dots for a pop of color. I hand cut the sun and the two clouds and tucked them behind the hot air balloon and took one of the banner also from the Fancy Frames to popped it on top of the balloon.
