Wplus9 Beautiful Bouquet: Dahlia + Zig Clean Color Watercolor

Hey folks!

My name is Cynde Whitlow. I'm from The Pink Envelope and this is my first official Guest Design post for the Kennedy Grace Creations Blog and I'm so excited to be here!

Sooo...to kick off my first card, I thought I would use the Kennedy Grace Creations July Mood Board for a lil bit of inspiration.

I started by stamping the Wplus9 Beautiful Bouquet: Dahlia on Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in the image. I usually will pick a light and dark in the same color, but this time, I decided to just use one color for each so I was super duper careful to keep the darkest of the color where the deepest shadows would be.

I used a ruler and created a frame around (ish) the bouquet with a Copic Multiliner. You could totally use a rectangle die and trace around it, but I decided to use the width of my ruler and kind of eyeball it.

Then, I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker in Gray and scribbled it on to my craft mat so I could use a water brush to create a shadow just inside the frame.

I trimmed down the panel with a My Favorite Things Die-Namics Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle Die. I also used a My Favorite Things Burlap Background Stamp and did some tone on tone stamping on my card base.

To finish off my my card, I used a healthy dose of Clear Wink of Stella on the highlights of the flowers and added some super fab Clear Sequins from the Vintage Tea Cup and At The Beach Sequins Mixes by Kennedy Grace Creations.

That's it! Easy peasy.

Thank so much for stopping by to see me and I really hope you enjoyed my card today!

Until next time!

It's Heidi on the blog today

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well!  Today I have my third and last guest design post for you all.  For this fun and colorful card I stamped one of the pretty flowers from the “Grace’s Little Note” stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations with Memento’s “Rich Cocoa” ink on Copic friendly paper. After coloring all of the flowers with my Copic Markers I used a black Copic Multiliner 0.3 on the hearts of the flowers and created some white lines on the flowers and the leaves to make them more interesting to look at, using a white Gelly Roll pen.   The background was created very easily by stamping one of the sentiments from the “Grace’s Little Note’s” stamp set repeatedly on some crème coloured linen textured card stock. The same sentiment was used on the vellum part with black ink. If you would like to know more about how I made this card and what exact colours I used then you can go over to my website for more details: http://www. mak...
