CAS Black and White Shimmer Sweet Rose Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends! Meg here with a quick and simple, elegant birthday card using the Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose Card.

This handmade card has to be the easiest and quickest I have ever posted. To start, I cut the largest Scalloped Stacked Stitched Rectangle die from black cardstock. I then used the Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose clear stamps and stamped the happy birthday sentiment, and 3 roses randomly across the black panel.

To finish it off, I colored each rose using the Spectrum Noir, clear shimmer, Sparkle Brush Pen. I added some black fun foam to the backside of the panel, and adhered it to a white, top-folding card base. Done!!

I created for you this really cute hot air balloon card using the Fancy Frames to create the back drop for my card. To create the hot air balloon I cut two circles from to design papers then cut them in form the balloon. Then I punched the white strip to cover up the two halves of the circles. Before adding the white strip to the middle I some DMC floss to make the stings for the basket. I popped the basket up with foam tape for some demention adding a few enamel dots for a pop of color. I hand cut the sun and the two clouds and tucked them behind the hot air balloon and took one of the banner also from the Fancy Frames to popped it on top of the balloon.
