Wish...

Happy Valentine's Day!  Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog with you today.  I've got a clean and simple birthday card to share.

We are creating projects based on this mood board this week.  I love the colors in this board!!

I decided I wanted to make a birthday card.  I kept it clean and simple.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Crayons to color these beautiful roses from the Splendid Roses stamp set.  I've used worn lipstick, picked raspberry, mustard seed and twisted citron.  

I finished the card by adding a banner strip and a washi banner.  I have so much washi!!  I decided I need to start actually using it...LOL!  Can you relate?!  I die cut the word 'wishes' from the Tim Holtz celebrate die set.  And I simply snipped off the 'es' to make it read 'wish'.
