Sharing a little green

Hi gang!  I wanted to stop by and share a little bit of green with you today.  I keep hoping and wishing for Spring to hurry up and arrive!  I decided to create a little spring inside my craft room. 


This card features a lovely little flower bunch from Grace's Happy Hearts.  I colored the flowers with some Zig Clean Color real brush markers and a water brush.  The orginal image was stamped on to Bristol smooth cardstock.

I kept the card very simple.  I cut out the flowers with a die from MFT Stamps and used a larger die from the same set to cut out the striped paper.  All of the patterned papers are from the Vivienne paper pad by Basic Grey.

For the finishing touch I added 3 sequins from the Lemon Sorbet sequin mix.  And that's it for my card today.  I hope you see some signs of Spring soon!

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well!  Today I have my third and last guest design post for you all.  For this fun and colorful card I stamped one of the pretty flowers from the “Grace’s Little Note” stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations with Memento’s “Rich Cocoa” ink on Copic friendly paper. After coloring all of the flowers with my Copic Markers I used a black Copic Multiliner 0.3 on the hearts of the flowers and created some white lines on the flowers and the leaves to make them more interesting to look at, using a white Gelly Roll pen.   The background was created very easily by stamping one of the sentiments from the “Grace’s Little Note’s” stamp set repeatedly on some crème coloured linen textured card stock. The same sentiment was used on the vellum part with black ink.
