Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here with you today!  I want to share with you Kindness Medley : a new type of flowers. It is a stamp set from Kennedy Grace that is simply adorable because you can give different forms to the flowers and stamp them in different ways. Take a look at my card:   I was inspired to create this with the monthly mood board that is normally used on Kennedy Grace Blog. This offered me the colors of fall season and as you know the yellow flowers are my favorites so I started working on this project by stamping the flowers from the set Kindness Medley using in clear embossing ink or Versamark onto whisper white cardstock . I used my MISTI stamp positioner to help me get a nice crisp impression.   Next, I covered the entire stamped images with   Gold embossing powder and heat set it with my heat tool . To add a pop of color to these images I used my copic markers in green and yellow colors.  I used YR23, YR24, YR27, YG21...

October Mood Board with Marina

Hi! Marina is here and I'm going to share with you my new card inspired by the October Mood Board! I was really inspired by the bright and yummy colors of the Board and decided to use them with beutiful flower from the Just a Rose Stamps . First of all I stamped the flower with Versafine Onyx Black ink on the watercolor paper, then I colored stamped images with the combination of the liquid watercolors and Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. When the panel was finished I adhered it to the kraft cardstock base and added some accents using Autumn Blessing  sequins. Love and Laughter, Marina

Inspired by Sunflowers

Hi friends!  It's Brenda here with my first post as a KGD designer.  What do you think of the gorgeous mood board we've been sharing with you?  I love the cool, crisp weather and the beautiful show that nature puts on during this season. Though my home is in Hawaii now, I grew up in Kansas and had to take the sunflower and the gorgeous colors as my inspiration.  I used Beautiful Blooms - Sunflower  for my feature image.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper with my MISTI using Smokey Grey VersaFine ink and the heat embossed it with clear powder.    I used Koi watercolors to color the image and ended up fussy cutting them both.  The lovely sentiment is from the set, it was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa.  I stamped the sentiment on a panel with distress ink on the edges.  I added a few sequins, from the Autumn Blessings mix which you may have noticed in the new release.   I'm hoping you will find some insp...

Birthday blessings - October Mood Board

Hello! It's Donna here, and I'm very excited to be joining the Kennedy Grace Creations family as a Design team member. It really has felt like a family right from the start, and it's a blessing to be a part of it. Just briefly, I thought I'd tell you a little about myself. I live in a beautiful rural part of Southern Australia, which is probably not the Australia that you imagine. The weather here is frequently cold, although summer can be incredibly hot, and bushfires are always a concern. For most of the year the scenery looks more like England than the rest of Australia. I love to garden, and spend a lot of my time growing food for our family. We have bees, chickens, sheep, vegetables and fruit trees, and a very full freezer! I am a teacher, teaching both music (piano) and Japanese from home. I am a Christian and love to be involved with our local church. You can often find me playing piano and singing in the services. I play the oboe. I have three children...

October Mood board with Erica

Hello! Erica on the blog today with my take of our October Mood board. It's full of fun colours and textures but I immediately knew I wanted to use these new Cathrine Pooler inks a friend sent me recently. It was like a stroke of fate, the colours my friend sent perfectly matched the mood board! It just had to be done. I started my placing the big 'kindess' stamp from  Kindness Medley  in my MISTI and then I got to work with my inks. These inks are so juicy and stamp incredibly well, I am so impressed! Saying that, I do prefer to use my MISTI whenever I stamp up anything, just in case the lines aren't as solid as I'd like or the colour doesn't cover the image very well. It is definitely one of my absolute must-haves. Anyway, after stamping away for a while I had a nice and bright panel which I used as my background. To incorporate some of the other colours on the mood board I decided to cut out the panel with a scalloped die so i...

October Mood Board

As you have seen from the other wonder DT creations we have this gorgeous mood board to inspire your creations. There's so much to work with here.  Being a lover of orange I chose the colour palette for my card using the new stamp set called Friendship Blessings and Jack Frost Sequins. I was a little uncertain whether to fussy cut the flowers or leave them as a print.  In the end I decided to use Kennedy Grace Scalloped Stitched Rectangles and back it on a piece of brown woodgrain paper.  I then chose a plaid that matched the colour scheme for the background.  My sentiment was added using a piece of twine tied in a small bow. I hope you'll take some inspiration from the board and share your creations either on the Kennedy Grace Creations Facebook Fan page or #kennedygracecreations on Instagram.  We'd love to see what you create.
