Kindness

Hello! Rachel here today with a simple watercolored card featuring the Time To Blossom stamp set!

I started my card by cutting a panel from some Ranger Watercolor paper. I stamped my image twice in Versamark ink and then heat embossed in white embossing powder. I used Distress Inks to watercolor with.

I cut my "kindness" die from some white cardstock and adhered it to my panel with Multi Medium Matte. I selectively inked the rest of my sentiment to stamp above and below my die cut in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white embossing powder.

It's a little hard to see the sentiment in the picture, but it's very clear in person. The watercolor helps it stand out from the paper.

That's it for me! Thanks for stopping by!

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T

Joy Peace Love, December Mood Board Card

December is here and Christmas is getting near!  Jill here, and I'm loving the Kennedy Grace Creations Mood Board this month (see below).  I continued my playtime with Yupo paper and Ranger Alcohol Inks to create the background for my card.  I think this one turned out fabulous!  I used just 2 colors of alcohol ink, Stream and the Pearl Mixative , along with the Blending Solution .  Since I knew this was going to be the background, and I didn't want to cover too much of it up, I decided to add some die cutting in the center of the card, make it a shaker element (I do love Shakers, you probably noticed!) and then add some simple, elegant floral images from Kennedy Grace Creations (white heat-embossed) to two opposing corners.                                                        Here's what I did.  After the Yupo paper dried completely, I die cut the S titched Square from Simon Says Stamp from the middle of the 5" x 5" Yupo panel.  I then die cut the
