Audrey Hepburn said  "The best thing to hold onto in life is each other". Its Karen up on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today sharing this card using the Time to Bloom stamp set accompanied by Sunshine on the Daises sequin mix. I simply stamped the flower spring 3 times along the edge of a piece card.  I placed the stamp carefully thus avoiding the need for masking, yes I was being lazy but why mask if you don't need to? I then coloured the blooms in pencil and stamped my sentiment.  The coloured piece is then cut to size and edged with a small strip of dark brown and a complimentary paper. Finishing touch a scattering of sequins . Thanks for visiting today Love and Laughter,

Sweet Baby Mine

Hello! Rachel here today with a simple card featuring the new stamp set Sweet Baby Mine. I began my card by cutting a card panel the same size as a card front and then using my cover plate to add the die cut detail. I adhered this to the front of a plain white card base and then started on my image. I cut a hexagon with a Stitched Hexagon die and then stamped my image onto it with my MISTI. I used my Copics to color it in and then used foam tape to add it to the front of my card. I cut a banner with a banner die and then used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment with a slight curve to fit the curved banner. I heat embossed it in white and then adhered it beneath my image. Pop of colour

Hello! Erica on the blog today with my last card for April. Honestly, time is just whooshing past, or is that just me?? Today I thought I'd try something that I find quite hard when it comes to card making and that's monochrome. Yep, black and white. This is my Everest in card making and colouring. I'm usually all about colours, colours, colours!! Especially with the stamps from  Kennedy Grace Creations  as it's mostly flowers. Well, not one to shirk away from a challenge (even one self-imposed) I had one idea that I pretty much scrapped right away. Mostly because I stamped a flower in the wrong spot on the second stamp so it went into the 'I might look at that later and see what happens' pile. Moving on, as my idea evolved from the mishap, I cut up a square measuring 5"x5" in white card stock. Then I covered the middle with a circle I cut out of masking film. This was more as a guide than anything else though. Once I was ready to start stamping ...

Mom's Vintage Tea card

Hello, Beverly , here again using Kennedy Grace Creations Vintage Cup, one of my very favorites!   I am delighted to be a designer for Kennedy Grace Creations and am here today for a card I made with the Vintage Tea Cup stamp set. I just love using this set! It is so fun to decide what colors I am going to make the china!! This was to match with the papers from Graphic 45 that include tea images so went with the blues and pinks. Can you image if you could just find sky blue china to have coffee or tea in?! That would be wonderful!!     I have only one mother left, my mother-in-law. She loves to have her coffee and tea, so that is what I thought about when I made this card for her. My husband loved how it turned out, as well.  Hope it delights you as much as it did us.   Directions: Layering the card front with Medium Blue vellum, and the Graphic 45 Botanical tea pattern papers so that the blue peaked out on either side. Stamped and die cut al...

Hello there!  Cindy from In Love with PAPER back on the blog today.  I've got another cute baby card to share.  I've used the stamp set Sweet Baby Mine and the Winter Mint sequin mix.   I stamped the image on the green dot patterned paper and colored it.  Then to add some dimension I stamped the image again on a scrap of white cardstock and then colored it and fussy cut it out, trimming off his mane and tail.  Then I used pop dots to add the dimension.      Thanks for visiting KGC.  Have a wonderful day!!   Cindy

It's Heidi on the blog today

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well!  Today I have my third and last guest design post for you all.  For this fun and colorful card I stamped one of the pretty flowers from the “Grace’s Little Note” stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations with Memento’s “Rich Cocoa” ink on Copic friendly paper. After coloring all of the flowers with my Copic Markers I used a black Copic Multiliner 0.3 on the hearts of the flowers and created some white lines on the flowers and the leaves to make them more interesting to look at, using a white Gelly Roll pen.   The background was created very easily by stamping one of the sentiments from the “Grace’s Little Note’s” stamp set repeatedly on some crème coloured linen textured card stock. The same sentiment was used on the vellum part with black ink. If you would like to know more about how I made this card and what exact colours I used then you can go over to my website for more details: http://www. mak...

Hi it is Heidi

Hi everyone, Heidi here again: today I ’ll show you my second project as a  guest designer for Kennedy Grace Creations ! Today I will  show you how to make three cards with the same design but every card has a totally different feel because of the different papers I used to color the stamped image on. This way you can stretch the use of the craft supplies you have to get a variation of different results. These cards mainly feature the “ Time to Blossom ” stamp set, as well as one of the sentiments from the “ Grace ’ s Little Note ” stamp set, both from Kennedy Grace Creations, and also the thank you sequin mix called “ Kennedy Grace ” that you get free with purchase . For my first card I stamped the flower image from the “ Time to Blossom ” stamp set on Canson Bright White heavy weight cartridge paper Versafine “ Onyx Black ” ink and I coloured the image with Faber Castell Polychromos. As the final finishing touch for this card I used the sequins ...
Its Karen on the Kennedy Grace blog today and I am sharing a card using the Beautiful Bloom - Sweet Rose.  This is one of my favourite Kennedy Grace stamps its so pretty and lovely to colour. It looks beautiful in any colour. For this card I chose a black and white striped paper to go in behind the soft pink rose paper.  I then fussy cut the rose to go on the top.  The sequins are from the Watermelon Spritzer mix, the bright melon colour although pink seemed to match perfectly with the rose.  The rose is coloured using pencil. Birthday Roses

Hello, everyone! Rachel here today with a beautiful birthday card featuring the gorgeous Splendid Roses stamp set. I've colored these roses in all sorts of different colors, but I just love them in classic red. I stamped my image on a piece of white cardstock and colored it in with my Copics. My reds were R89, R39, R37, and R35. I used YG95, YG97, and YG99 for my greens. When it was completely colored, I used my Brother Scan N Cut 2 to cut it out because I'm too impatient for fussy cutting. I set aside my image and prepared a card base from more white cardstock. I wanted a subtle background that would work well with my roses, so I used a layering stamp set to create a subtle marble look. I placed my roses approximately where I wanted to adhere them so I could figure out where to stamp my sentiment. I used my MISTI to stamp in Versamark ink and then heat embossed in silver embossing powder. I finished it off by adding my roses with some foam tape. It's ...
