Hello, everyone! Rachel back today with a clean and simple card.
I used my MISTI to stamp my white card base with my Splendid Roses stamp. I kept my stamp where it was in the MISTI to stamp on a piece of watercolor paper that was cut to the same size as my card, but used Versamark this time. I heat embossed the watercolor paper with white embossing powder. This created two pieces with the image in the exact same spot.
I used an ink blending tool and Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks to blend into my watercolor paper over my image. It created an ombre effect over my flowers. I centered my Hugs die where I wanted to cut on my watercolor paper and ran it through my Big Shot. I used my MISTI to stack my watercolor paper (the negative piece) over my card base. Since my images were in exactly the same spot, this would line up my die cut hugs exactly where I wanted them. I used the negative piece as a guide to adhere my die cut with some foam tape. When everything was adhered, I simply removed the watercolor paper from the top of my card base and it left me with my die cuts perfectly lined up!
I finished my sentiment by stamping it in Versamark ink on black cardstock and then heat embossing it in white. I adhered it with a little foam tape and then added a sprinkling of Moonbeams sequins with some Multi Medium Matte adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by today!
