bidding a farewell

Happy Sunday everyone! Have a couple of cards to share with you today! Also a side note, today will be my last post here on the Kennedy Grace blog. I have a medical kiddo, and we have a very busy medical year ahead of us unfortunately, and need to focus on that and craft between when I can!! It has been such a privilege to get to work with Michelle and this crazy talented team of hers!!! Michelle thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity!! So back to the cards because I know thats what you're really here for!

This sunflower! Need I say more!! Wanted to continue with my clean and simple look for all the flowers!! I stamped this image in a kraft coloured ink to keep it a little more soft looking then took my distress oxide inks and a water colour pen and added the yellow and green. And honestly thats all that I did! Quick simple card easy to replicate for sure!! I just love it and the simplicity of it!

This card is similar to something Ive done before when this fabulous set first came out. But I just LOVE making my own backgrounds with stamps. And since I had oxide inks all over my table I pulled out the kraft cardstock to stamp on! Its just so clean and crisp to not what to do this over and over! And I think this would look amazing on black as well!!!! Maybe when I haven a moment I'll get on trying that!

Hope you feel inspired to pull out these beautiful stamps and create!!! Thank you again or this wonderful opportunity to share with you!!!

Chera~

It's Heidi on the blog today

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well!  Today I have my third and last guest design post for you all.  For this fun and colorful card I stamped one of the pretty flowers from the “Grace’s Little Note” stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations with Memento’s “Rich Cocoa” ink on Copic friendly paper. After coloring all of the flowers with my Copic Markers I used a black Copic Multiliner 0.3 on the hearts of the flowers and created some white lines on the flowers and the leaves to make them more interesting to look at, using a white Gelly Roll pen.   The background was created very easily by stamping one of the sentiments from the “Grace’s Little Note’s” stamp set repeatedly on some crème coloured linen textured card stock. The same sentiment was used on the vellum part with black ink. If you would like to know more about how I made this card and what exact colours I used then you can go over to my website for more details: http://www. mak...
