Karen O on the Blog today

I hope you managed to hop with Kennedy Grace Creations over the weekend.  Its such an exciting time for us with the launch of the first 2 stamp sets.  Both sets are just a joy to work with, really good quality clear stamps.  Grace's Happy Heart has three lovely flower stems and several wonderful sentiments.  You Inspire Me has three large words and lots of lovely smaller words to go with them to make some beautiful inspirational sentiments. The added bonus to this set are some pretty little miniature accessory stamps. The card I would like to share today features Grace's Happy Heart and one of the March sequin mixes called Kindness Medley.  The flowers are coloured using Derwent Coloursoft Pencils.  I decided to keep the layout fairly simple so the flowers reman the main focus.  After all they are very pretty.  The sentiment "thinking of you today makes my heart happy" is going to become a real favourite. Brand New March Release

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Welcome to Kennedy Grace Creations March Blog Hop! We are so happy you have stopped by and joined us for this very special event! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! https://squareup.com/market/kennedy-grace-creations       Here is what I have created for you   For my card today, I created this lovely simple water colored panel using our newest stamp Grace’s Happy Heart released this today in our shop. I colored them in shades of pinks to blend perfectly with the Pink Champaign Sequins.   This was inspired by a saying my son said to me when he say me sitting on the side of the road holding his sign up during the Airman’s Run at Boot Camp graduation.   He said, Momma when I turned the corner and saw you sitting there “my heart got happy” it was so special then and it is something I will always hold dear and close to my heart even now almost over three ...

Skyline Card

Hi! Happy Friday! I'm on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today {for the first time} with a rather quick, clean and simple card! I love being able to embrace the clean and simple style - especially when short on time! For my card today, I used the Pink Champagne sequin mix and pulled out only the tiny pink sequins. They matched perfectly with my skyline, which was watercolored with SAI Watercolor Markers . If you like pink, you need this sequin mix! So soft & pretty! My daughter says the sequins look like little pink bubbles floating up from the skyline! The sentiment is from Avery Elle's Circle It set and is stamped with VersaFine Onyx and embossed with clear embossing powder. Make sure you check out the Kennedy Grace Creations store and get your sequin mix fix! Don't forget to stop back next week for some exciting happenings -- NEW sequin mixes and STAMPS ! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you again soon! ~Cammy

Marilyn on the blog today

I am so pleased to have been asked to join the  Kennedy Grace Creations  design team and I do have to say, the sequin mixes Michelle has created are such gorgeous, lush, and pretty combinations.  As soon as I saw the package, I knew it was calling for a shaker card.  What I really like about these mixes is that they are so fine and you are able to use a single layer of foam backing as a spacer so you reduce the bulkiness of most shaker cards. For today's card, I chose to use the  Iced Berries  mix which is so pretty - little hearts, clear and turquouise seed beads and four different colours and two sizes of sequins.  You can't really see them in the photo but I did glue some of the seed beads to the flower sprays.  To see all these gorgeous mixes, head on over to the  Kennedy Grace Creations  shop. The card was quick and easy to make.  This is a smaller than average shaker area but I thought the blue mix would be great f...
Hello, all!  I am super excited to be here sharing my FIRST EVER post for the Kennedy Grace Creations design team!  I've got some fun inspiration using a couple of the *NEWEST* sequin mixes ...come and see! I decided that a pink and black card would be fun to make, and since I adore butterflies, that was the theme I chose.  I used sequins from the Pink Passion and Leather and Pink Lace mixes to add some sparkle and shine.  I just LOVE the variety in these amazing mixes!!! I added a sentiment, some punched and die cut shapes, and faux stitching to finish off my focal panel.  A sprinkling of liquid pearls was also added for more shine and glam. The card base was prepped with some more black cardstock and fun striped patterned paper.  I think this card turned out pretty cute, and I hope you agree!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think! That's all ...
