Its Karen here with my Kennedy Grace post and today I have made a cheerful little card using the " You Inspire Me " stamp set.  I used some of the little floral stamps around the Grateful sentiment.  I stamped and fussy cut some extra little flowers and popped them up of foam before adding the "for our friendship" sentiment on top.  A couple of strips of coloured paper to match the stamping to finish it off. A simple pretty clean and layered card using my new Stamp Perfect from Hampton Crafts.  I have coveted a Misti from the first time I saw Kathy from the Daily Marker use one a long time ago.  I profess to being a real dummy when it comes to stamping I have to stamp the image several times before I get it right and sentiments...suffice to say I have screwed up many cards because of stamping a sentiment.  But the mini Misti retails here for around $100.00,  thats a lot right. When a local store advertised the new Stamp Perfect for half the price and free s

You Are a Blessing

Hello, everyone! Rachel here today with a cute card to celebrate someone special in your life. I started my card by stamping my image on white paper and then coloring it with my Copics. I used a heart die to cut it down and then set it aside. I prepped a fog gray card base and then used a background stamp to stamp my triangles in fog gray ink for a subtle background for my heart. I adhered my heart to the base using foam tape. Next, I prepped a sentiment strip using my embossing buddy and then stamped my sentiment in Versamark on black and heat embossed on white. I cut it down to a very narrow strip and used a mixture of liquid glue and foam tape to adhere it over the top of my heart. I completed the whole thing by adding a smattering of Moonbeams sequins surrounding my image. Easy-peasy, but so pretty! Thanks for joining me today! Spreading Kindess card

Hello everyone, Erica on the blog today! I don't know about you but I've been quite saddened to see so much hatred, friends attacking friends and general unkindness going around lately. Regardless of your political/religious/personal beliefs I think we can all do better with keeping it a bit civilised and perhaps doing less talking and more actions. With that in mind I made this card with a positive message to send out some positive karma into the world. Using an A2 panel cut out from Ranger Ink water colour paper, I dusted it generously with my anti-static tool as I was going to heat emboss the gorgeous  Just A Rose  stamp set. I started by stamping it in the middle with VersaMark ink and dusting it with white embossing powder, also from Ranger Ink. Using a mask I already had, I stamped it again on both sides to create a rose bush border, before adding and setting the embossing powder with my heat tool. Using a sentiment from Mama Elephant's 'Bu

Love You

Hello there! It's Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog today.  I've got a CAS Valentine to share with you.  It went together really fast.  I used some striped paper and a few die cuts.  And the final detail was adding some wonderful Kennedy Grace Creations sequins.  The mix I used is called Red Sangria..   Thanks for visiting KGC.  Have a beautiful day! Gentle Hugs

Its Karen on the Kennedy Grace blog today and I'm a couple of days late due to it being summer holidays and being away at the beach.  I Thought I had scheduled this post but alas I didn't publish it....oooppps! Anyway my card uses the lovely stamp set called Splendid Rose s matched with Peaches and Cream Sequin Mix .  I went for a very soft and subtle palette to create a gentle hugs card.  I used a white gel pen for a little bit of outlining to give the petals a little more definition  as I stamped them in a very pale pink ink.  I think this is a nice alternative to your usual sympathy card, sometimes all you need is a gentle hug. Thanks for stopping by today. Love and Laughter,

Any Occasion Floral Tags

Hello, everyone! Rachel here today with a trio of tags that can be used for any occasion. I like having a few tags on hand that I can grab at a moment's notice. That was the inspiration behind these tags! I left them without sentiments so that I can either stamp/heat emboss a sentiment on the front or write something on the back. They're so versatile! I can use them for a wedding present, get well gift, birthday, new baby...pretty much anything! For this tag, I used the Splendid Roses stamp set and offset the image so that I had a little white space in the upper right hand corner for a future sentiment. I used my Copics to color it and then adhered another blank white tag to the back to cover any bleeding from the markers. I tied a bit of natural twine through the hole and it was finished! This tag features Grace's Little Notes, but the process was the same. There's not as much room for a sentiment on this one, so I would either heat emboss over the i

Something a bit different

Hello, hello! Erica on the blog today with my second card of 2017. Boy, does time fly.. I can't believe it's the 15th of January already! Yikes. It's not just me, is it? Where is the time going? I can't quite keep up at times, it feels like. And I'm not even overly busy to be perfectly honest but still it seems like the days just poof by. With that in mind, I'm going to keep it relatively short today. Short for me anyway, lol! I know I usually jibber-jabber away about all aspects of the card of the day but today, I don't really see how I can drag it out too much. It really is a super simple card! My (current) favorite colour combination is navy and gold. I can't quite put my finger on why I love it so much but it just works in my mind. My original idea was to have a cutout saying 'thanks' but I made the navy panel too small and I had already heatembossed the lovely  Just A Rose  in gold embossing powder on it by the time I realised this.

Mini Valentines

Hello!  It's Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog today.  I've got a couple of mini Valentines to share with you.  They are sized at 4" x 3".  I've used 3 different Kennedy Grace Creations stamp sets to create the sentiments.  For the 'Love' stamp you will find it on the Splendid Rose stamp set.  The 'hello' can be found on the Grace's Little Notes stamp set.  And the mini heart is on the You Inspire Me stamp set.  It's so fun to mix and match them :-) Thanks for visiting Kennedy Grace Creations today.    Cindy

Beautiful Rose Cards with Heat Embossing and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers

Hello friends. Meg here with some BEAUTIFUL and EASY floral, rose cards! This gorgeous card trio was created with the Kennedy Grace Creations stacked stitched rectangle dies, stacked stitched scalloped rectangle dies, Just a Rose clear stamps and/or Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose stamps. Do you see how perfectly these rose stamps fit into our layering dies??? It's a perfect pair! To start, I die-cut two stitched rectangles and one scalloped rectangle using our wafer thin die sets and Strathmore Bristol smooth paper. I then stamped the roses, inside the white Bristol panels, using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I coated each image with clear embossing powder and heat set to a smooth, raised finish. To color I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers without any water! They blend together alone like a dream! For the leaves (on all 3 cards) I used only 2 Zig markers; 053 Yellow Green and 047 May Green. See below for exact rose color combinations. To color
Its Karen on the blog today with my first Kennedy Grace Creations post for 2017. Today purple is my colour of choice.  I used the gorgeous Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose stamp set to create my card.  Its such a pretty stamp.  I stamped it in purple ink to soften the outline and to blend with my colouring.   Its coloured using Derwent Coloursoft pencils.  The sentiment comes from the same stamp set.  Finished off with some pretty Lilac Garden sequins. Wishing you a wonderful day filled with Love and Laughter,
