Thinking Of You

Hello everyone! Berina here today with a lovely center-step card. I decided to use the Grace's Little Notes stamp set for today's card. I stamped the floral image with grey ink and colored it with Copics and cut it into a oval panel. I cut and folded a 8.5" x 5.5" card base to create a center-fold card. I cut panels from grey card stock and adhered it on to the card base. I added the image panel on to the center panel. I added a triple loop bow and few sequins as well. To see how I make my bows, please see my video here . For the side panels, I added few sequins. The sequins are from the Frosted Cupcakes sequin mix . The sentiment is from the Splendid Roses stamp set .  Here's the template I used for the center-step card. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day. Inspire

Hidey ho everyone!  I'm here to share my latest project with you all!  I really, really wanted to use the You Inspire Me stamp set.  It's been sitting on my desk just waiting for the right moment.  I finally had a great idea for it. I started with a kraft colored piece of cardstock.  Next I needed some colors to work with.  I pulled several ink pads from Stampin Up--Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Mint Macaron and Soft Suede.  I stamped the word "inspire" randomly on the cardstock with black ink.  Next, I went in with some of the small sentiments that coordinate with inspire.  These were stamped in assorted colors.  Then to fill in the gap areas, I used several of the little stamps in the set to randomly stamp all over.  Once that was done I cut it out with a scalloped die.  I sponged around all of the edges with the Rich Razzleberry ink.  I wanted something to go along one side but I felt cardstock would block ...

Flower Sketchbooks

Hello! Marina is here! I prepared for you two flower sketchbooks with kraft paper inside. It's a nice idea for a little gift for friends made with love by your own hands. At first I made two sketchbooks from kraft paper and heavywight cardstock. I just scored 12 sheets of Half Letter paper in the middle and got 24 kraft pages. Then I scored Half Letter cardstock and got the heavywight cover. Now we should put it all together. One sketchbook I sewed with sewing machine and the other one bundled with stapler. Both methods work great. You just need long stapler to get to middle of the book. The last thig to do is to trim the ready sketchbook. You can do it with a craft knife for example. Now lets switch to stamping! I stamped all the space with flowers from Graces Little Note  and Just a Rose Sets. To fill the spaces between flowers I used a black marker and drew some dots. From the kraft cardsock I die cut the banner and stamped sentiment from the  Friendship Bles...

Blue Flowers for Christmas

Hello dear frends, Martha Lucia here with you! Blue Flowers for Christmas and flowers for everything! I love the stamps of Kennedy Grace Creations because they have an amazing collection of flowers and they are my favorites!  Today I have a project to share with you using the Grace's Little Note stamp set . Take a look at my card:   This is not a Christmas stamp set but with a little of creativity you can make whatever you want. And this is what I made. I just decided to stamp one of the flowers included on the stamp set Grace's Little Note with Versamark Ink and Gold Embossing Powder over Basic Black Cardstock and melted the powder. I tried not to connect the flowers so since I stamped one by one it was very easy to remove the powder when I didn't want to connect the flowers.   Then using Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils I colored each flower. In this opportunity I went with the blues and greens. I used two different blues and two different greens, but ...

Blessings To You

Hello everyone! It's Berina here today! I'm here to inspire you to create something with our beautiful Mood board for November. I love the beautiful Christmas colors. This pic really inspired me to do gold embossing, which is one of my all time favorites. And here's the card that I made:  I took a watercolor cardstock panel of size 4" x 5.25" and stamped the flowers from the Grace's Little Notes stamp set repeatedly after masking and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored the flowers with Distress Ink Barn Door. For the leaves, I used Distress Ink Antique Linen. I love this color combination! For the sentiment, I used the "Blessings To You" from the Vintage Tea Cup stamp set and embossed it with gold embossing powder. I inked the edges of the top folding A2 card base with Distress Ink Barn Door and adhered the watercolor panel on to it using glue. That's it!   Please join in with us and share your creation...

Hi, Marina is here! Today I'm sahring a black&white card with golden accents. I was inspired by the lovely flowers from the amazing  Grace's Little Note set . As a sentiment I used YOU ARE AWESOME from the  Just a Rose Stamps . I really love the sentiments from this set, they are very stylish! All images are stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, I adore it's rich color.  I also used  Jack Frost Sequins as delicate accents to match the vellum. Love and Laughter,

Believe in your strength, Copic coloring with Grace's Little Notes

Hello cardmaking friends. First off, thank you so much for visiting my blogpost! Today I made a clean and simple floral card with lots of masking and Copic Markers. To begin, I stamped one of the small floral images from the Grace's Little Notes clear stamp set. I then stamped it 3 other times on masking paper and fussy cut them out. I continued stamping, masking each image as I went, until I achieved a bundle of flowers in the lower right hand corner of my card panel. Once the staping was complete, I die-cut the entire panel with the largest of the Stacked Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then used the You Inspire Me stamp set and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx blaxk ink. The sentiment reads 'Believe in your strength.'  I added clear embossing powder to it and heat set until a smooth, shiny, raised finish occured.  Then it was time for the fun part (for me anyways).... coloring!!! I pulled out my Copic markers and decided I wanted to go with pink fl...

It's Time to Blossom, Stamping and Copic Markers

Hello everyone. Thank you for visiting my blogpost for Kennedy Grace Creations! To create this card, I used three Kennedy Grace Creations clear stamp sets; Splendid Rose, Time to Blosson and Grace's Little Notes. To begin, I diecut the largest of the Stacked Stitched Rectangle dies from Cryogen white, iridescent shimmer cardstock. This is my preferred cardstock for Copic Markers.  I then stamped a variety of flowers from the Time to Blossom and Grace's Little Notes stamp sets. I simply lined them along the bottom of the rectangle. I stamped them quickly and simply, next to one another, with zero masking.  I then stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink and heat embossed it using Hero Arts clear embossing powder. Then it was time for the Copic Marker coloring. I colored the flowers as follows; Orange: YR02, YR65, YR68 Dark Purple: V95, RV66, V99 Yellow: Y11, Y13, Y15 To finish off this clean and simple floral card, I added some K...

Super Simple Bookmarks

Hey, everyone! Rachel here today with a quick and easy project using a variety of Kennedy Grace stamp sets! I have 3 cats, two of which love to steal and eat my bookmarks. I read A LOT, so this is a problem for me! I decided to the situation by sitting down and creating several bookmarks to have on hand for when they decide to strike again! I used my Bookmark die and cut out 8 separate bookmarks from white cardstock. I set four aside and then used a variety of stamp sets to stamp on my remaining four. I used my Copics to color in each image and then added my halo around each of them as well. To keep the bleeding from my Copics hidden, I took those first four bookmarks and adhered them to the backs of my colored bookmarks. It helps to make them a little more durable and it keeps any bleeding from showing - a win-win in my book! I finished them off by adding a little baker's twine. Super simple project, but it definitely solves my cat-bookmark problem. At least for now!...
