Planner tag and shaker

Hello there!  Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog with you today.  I've got a couple of fun planner projects to share.   The first project is a tag that I made for my planner.  I used my Create 365 Happy Planner punch to make this tag that goes into my planner.  The top of the tag and the ribbon sticks out of the planner.  I thought this was a fun way to mark a page. I used the Time to Blossom stamp set for this project.  I colored the flowers with colored pencils.  I added some Frosted Lace Stickles for some sparkle.  And a crinkle ribbon bow completes the tag.   This is the tag in my planner.   My second project is a shaker for my planner.  I used the wonderful Friendship Blessings stamp set.  I also used colored pencils on this image.  And I used my Fuse tool with a waterfall sleeve to create the shaker pouch.  The sequin mix I used is called Frozen . And her...

Using Complementary Colours

Hello! It's Donna . I'm back with yet another card using the Friendship Blessings stamp set. I just can't get enough of this stamp. The clean petals make it a dream to colour. I have to admit to going out and purchasing another yellow Copic marker just so I could get the shading I wanted on this image. (I know, I suffer, right?) Once I'd coloured the image in Copics, I cut it out, leaving a white border around the edge. I then used a colour wheel to work out the exact complementary colour of the yellow. It was a blue, with just a hint of red in it. I mixed this colour using my watercolours. You can see that it took two layers to get the colour exactly right - the first set of lines were slightly too blue. The yellow really pops with the complementary colour underneath, don't you think? I spattered some black paint on the background (which I die cut with a wonky stitched rectangle die) before adding the image, and then popping the sentiment up on foam tape...

Romantic card with Friendship Blessings

Hello dear friends!  Martha Lucia  here to share with you a colorful card created with Kennedy Grace Creations Stamps! Today I used the Friendship Blessings stamp set and let me tell that for me is really difficult decide which stamp use because these flowers are totally gorgeous. Take a look at my card:   The base of my card is Melon Mambo card stock and the second layer is a piece of decorated paper from the Everyday Spring Collection from Lemon Craft that you can find on Craftycity.com. Used a tiny piece of the other design of the same paper I created a vertical belt, I pasted behind of this piece a layer of fun foam white to give more dimension and paste it on the right side.   Over a piece of whisper white card stock I stamped one of the images included on the stamp set Friendship Blessings using Versafine Onix and covered it with with Clear Embossing Powder . I gave a few touches of color with a paint brush and Kuratake Gansai and fussy cut th...

Spring Happy Birthday Card!

Hi, Marina is here and I'm going to inspire you with fresh spring colors of my card! I'm dreaming about Spring and it's beautiful flowers! So I've found some of them in the  Friendship Blessings   Stamp Set :) It was a real pleasure to color these beauties with Zig Clean Color Markers. I used Cobalt Blue, Blue, Violet, Light Violet and Yellow colors. To mix the colors I used a waterbrush. Happy Birthday Sentiment is from the amazing  Just A Rose  Set! I'm in love with these stylish sentiments and use them a lot! I also picked a pair of sequins from the  Chantilly Cream  and Leather&Pink Lace mixes as little accents. At the end I sprinkled all the card with a perl spray to make it sparkle! Thanks for stopping by! Be inspired!  Please be sure to follow the Kennedy Grace Creations blog , facebook , twitter , instagram and pinterest . Our Design Team has great projects to inspire you with our great stamp sets.

Pink and Blue Roses

Happy New Year, dear friends! May this year bring you all the happiness and joy! So, Marina is here and I'm going to share my results of playing with Tic Tac Toe board! I've chosen DieCut, Embossing and Flowers. And here is my flower card. At first I die cut a wavy panel and a little white heart. Then I stamped beautiful flowers from the Just A Rose Set  with VersaMark embossing ink and embossed them with white powder. I used Distress Inks to color my flowers, love the pink&blue combo with fresh green accents. On the piece of light grey cardstock I stapmed sweet sentiment from the Frienship Blessings . Sequins from the  Leather and Pink lace mix are the perfect match to the colors of my card!  Our Tic Tac Toe Board Thanks for stopping by! Be inspired! Holiday Thanks

Hello everyone! It's Berina here today. I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas. I have made a thank you card with traditional Christmas colors. Here's my card for today. I stamped the image from Grace's Little Note stamp set 4 times and colored it with Copic markers. I used R59, R29, R35 and R32 for the red and G99, YG67, YG63 and YG61 for the green. I fussy cut all 4 of them and colored the edge with a black marker. This step is really important. I also removed the tiny leaf on the ends. Now I took a top folding A2 cardbase and adhered ScorTape of thickness 1/8" on the left end and adhered gold deco foil on it. Then I arranged the 4 cut pieces to form a semi-circle and adhered them with Brutus Monroe glue. I gold embossed the sentiment "Heartfelt Thanks" from the Friendship Blessings stamp set using Hero Arts gold embossing powder. Hope you are inspired by this card. Please share your creations with us and tag us using #kennedygracecreations in...

Merry Christmas

Hello!  It's Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog with you today.  I've made a card with a tag on it.  This will be my last Christmas card for this year. Basically, inspiration struck when I looked at my messy desk of scraps from previous projects..LOL!  Anyone else have a seriously messy work space right now??!!  Anyway, I saw the red plaid paper and the black and that decided my color palette for this card.  I wanted to add a bunch of glitter to my flower from the Friendship Blessings stamp set .  So, I reached for the Christmas Red Stickles.   A close up of the glittery goodness :-) I added some green crinkle ribbon to the tag and let it drape down behind the flowers.  I fussy cut the flowers and popped them up.  I also added some KGC Blackbird sequins mix to finish off the card.   Thanks for stopping by KGC today.  I hope I've inspired you to make something fun today. I would like to ...

Flower Sketchbooks

Hello! Marina is here! I prepared for you two flower sketchbooks with kraft paper inside. It's a nice idea for a little gift for friends made with love by your own hands. At first I made two sketchbooks from kraft paper and heavywight cardstock. I just scored 12 sheets of Half Letter paper in the middle and got 24 kraft pages. Then I scored Half Letter cardstock and got the heavywight cover. Now we should put it all together. One sketchbook I sewed with sewing machine and the other one bundled with stapler. Both methods work great. You just need long stapler to get to middle of the book. The last thig to do is to trim the ready sketchbook. You can do it with a craft knife for example. Now lets switch to stamping! I stamped all the space with flowers from Graces Little Note  and Just a Rose Sets. To fill the spaces between flowers I used a black marker and drew some dots. From the kraft cardsock I die cut the banner and stamped sentiment from the  Friendship Bles...

Heartfelt Thanks

Hello everyone!! It's Berina here today with a Thank you card for you. This looks like a triple stamping, but I used only 1 panel of colored images. I'll walk you through the steps. I took a piece of white cardstock of size 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and stamped the sentiment from the Friendship Blessings stamp set in the center and stamped the flowers repeatedly around the sentiment. I colored the images with Copic markers. With a T-ruler and pencil, I drew rectangles where I wanted to cut and used my paper trimmer to cut. I did the same with a black cardstock panel of size 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and used it to matte all the pieces of image panel. Then I adhered the 3 pieces adhered on to each other with foam tape to give some dimension. I added some Nuvo drops in color English Mustard. I really love how this has turned out. I hope you will give it a try. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day. Please be sure to follow the Kennedy Grace Creations blog...

Blessings

Hello there!  It's Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog with you today.  I've got a fun shaker card to share with you. Since I wanted a square shaped shaker I went with a 5 inch square card base.  I recently got a new paper stack by The Paper Studio called The Mint Berry.  Love it with all of it's mint, pink and grey.  So good!  I picked a rose print for the background of the card and shaker.  I created the frame for the shaker using my Cricut and the Elegant Edges cartridge. I've used some crafty foam tape to lift the frame to make the sequins move in the shaker.  I cut a piece of an acrylic sheet down to make the window of the shaker.  I've used Winter Mint & Watermelon Spritzer sequins mixes.  And I also used part of one of the sentiment stamps from the Friendship Blessings stamp set .  The whole sentiment didn't fit so I masked off the bottom words with some tape and only stamped the top word, Blessings...

Heartwarming Friendship

Hello everybody from sunny Australia. It's Donna , and I have a card to share with you. The cold has finally broken here, and I’m enjoying a hot day (from inside, and with a cool drink - I don’t really want to get hot; it’s just nice to know that I could if I wanted to!) I really am loving this Friendship Blessings stamp set. I love the height on the flowers, and the beautiful clean lines. I have googled crocuses to colour my image. They seem to come in two main colours - yellow and purple. I absolutely loved the yellow crocuses, but when I  looked in my stash of Copics, I had very little in the way of yellows, so I went with purple instead. I coloured the image with Copics, and rather than blending them as I usually do, I built up layers of colour using thin sweeps of the marker, leaving the striations visible, just as they are on the real flowers. I really love this look, and these flowers really showed if off well. The background was created by stamping the same im...
