AMAZING guest designer Michelle Stort

Hello there, today I have the pleasure of guest designing for Kennedy Grace Creations. If you haven't heard of them, they are a company based in the US designing and selling wonderful stamps sets, along with sequins and dies. Their floral stamp sets are stunning! For my card today I am using the Beautiful Bloom - Sweet Rose stamp set. I started off by taking a piece of Arches cold pressed watercolour paper and cutting this with the Mama Elephant Femme Frames rectangle die. I then stamped the rose image on to this using Distress Inks. I used Picked Raspberry for the flower itself and then Twisted Citron for the leaves. The mini cubes are great for selective stamping. The image was then painted using the Distress Inks. As well as the Picked Raspberry for the flower, I also used Seedless Preserves. For the leaves I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn, and for the flower centres I used Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade. Once dry, the panel was adhered to an A2 black

So here's a smile from me to you !!! Love and Laughter,

Amazing Roses

Hello! Rachel here with some inspiration for you featuring the always lovely Splendid Roses stamp set! I've colored up these gorgeous roses in all sorts of colors so far, but I haven't done any classic red yet! I had to remedy that with this card. I stamped the image in each corner and then colored them in with my Copics. I used R35, R37, and R39 for my reds and YG95, YG97, and YG99 for my greens. I added my ever-present gray halo around them using C00, C1, and C3. I add that halo because it really makes the image pop from the white paper and look 3 dimensional. It looks scary when you first start adding the gray, but trust me, it makes a world of difference! I finished by cutting my panel down with a Wonky Stitched rectangle die and then adding my sentiment in heat embossed gold. It's simple, but effective! Hello everyone it's me Jessica and I wanted to share with you this card I made. I love this rose stamp set it's the Splendid Roses from Kennedy Grace Creations . I have to admit I love flower stamps I want to make every card with them lol. I have color them with a lot of different mediums but watercoloring has defiantly been challenging. So I will push through and continue to work at it. I recently got some watercolor pencils and that has been a lot easier to work with. ( I guess I'm a control freak.) But I'm happy to report that I have been enjoying watercoloring and you will defiantly see more. Now on to the card... I used Arches Cold press watercolor paper and then embossed the image from Splendid Roses and used my Derwent Ink Intense pencils to color. I then die cut the Scalloped background from the new Cutting Edge Scalloped Dies. I embossed the sentiment from the the new Just a Rose stamp set. Really simple I didn't want to take away from t

Welcome to Day 4 of the designer showcasing the BRAND NEW Cutting Edge Creations Stacked Stitched Rectangles dies.  We LOVE this set.  We hope you will too!!      Jessica has several cards she made using these dies and can I say WOW!  Her cards are amazing there are so many techniques used with the same stamps and dies the possibilities are just endless.   She uses everything from Inktense pencils on the first one.   Copic Markers on the second one.   too Zig watercolor markers on her third one.  Wow - love just how different each one is yet all gorgoeus at the same time.          This one Michelle did little watercolor of her own on this image and still different yet beautiful as well.   We hope you are enjoying our designer showcase and hope to see you back tomorrow.

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T

Announcing Just a Rose Stamp set

Welcome to day 3 of the designer showcase featuring Just a Rose stamp set.   I love love love this image.  Just look how many ways it can be used.  All the Glam squad did such an amazing job!   First we have Cammy she did the first two card you wouldn't believe me if I told you, but the embossing powder is the exact same on both of her cards.  I know right!  I would not have ever thought that at all.  But it is.  How cool is that???  Chera did the next three cards.  She used the same stamp and but changed how she colored them and they are are same placement but look how different they are.  Just awesome!  Monica did this beautiful blue one.  I just love the blue blooms so different and the blue is just stunning.  We hope you have gotten some ideas that make you look at your supplies differently!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for day 4!

Day 2 of the Designer showcase featuring Cutting Edge Creations - Scalloped Retangle Dies

Welcome to day 2 of the designer showcase featuring - our Brand NEW Cutting Edge Creations Dies.  Michelle used the two largest dies on her card love how stunning they look.  Monica used the dies to make frames.  I just love how they pop next to the black and white background paper. Jessica made this beautiful black and white card.  Love the look of this! So loving the frame in silver on this beauty!  Jessica made it look stunning. Stay tuned for lots more projects coming soon using these dies.

Just a Rose Shaker

Hi there! It's Monica and it's my turn up on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today with this super simple shaker card. Let's take a look. I used the Jourdana Collage die from Poppystamps to die cut the dotted front panel of the shaker. I added Scor-tape and a sheet of acetate to make the window for the shaker. I doubled up on foam tape to make sure that the sequin mix has lots of room to move and added the Pink Champagne mix as well as a few of the darker pink sequins from the Frosted Cupcakes mix . I stamped the rose from the Just a Rose stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations in some Copic friendly Memento Tuxedo black ink and gave the rose a quick coloring. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Versafine Onyx black. I added a little foam tape behind the rose for a bit of dimension and called it a day. Thank you so much for visiting, I'll see you soon!

Designer Showcase featuring Time to blossom

Welcome to day 1 of the designer showcase featuring - Time to Blossom  First up today is Rachel. She made this beautiful book mark from the Time to Blossom Stamp set.  She told me when she saw this image it was "crying out to be a bookmark" and so it became a beautiful one.  Next we have Cindy's vintage look.  I love how different this one is. Now we have Karen I love how she did the bloom all around the focal piece and colored it ever so lightly.  Simply so delicate.     Cindy did the focal panel cutting the image in to thirds.  Such a different take.  I love it.  It is just amazing how you can just by changing the coloring how you can make this bloom so different.  I love how Rachel colored all three of the next images and all beautiful and all different at the same time.  SO awesome!   Michelle has taken the same colors and made two c
