A new adventure...

Hi friends, I have been pondering a new adventure for a very long time now.  Now seems like as good time as any. I have loved using sequins on my cards and have wanted to make my own sequins mixes. I don't know if it is a good idea but I figured that in order to fulfill your dreams you have too take that first step. We here we go.  I have made a few mixes to start. This first one is called Rainbow Sherbet.  It is full of pinks, peaches, greens, vanilla and has some iridescent stars.  I love how it came out. The second one is called Dress Blues. I created this one for my son.  This reminds me of his Air Force dress uniform and I knew I just wanted to do it. The last one is called Frosted Cupcakes.  It has light pink, medium pink, chocolate, white, clear and a mix of seed beads. I hope you like them.  The will be uploaded to my online store soon.  Hope you take the time to give them a try on your cards and projects. Love and Laughter,

Breast Cancer Month

October is Breast Cancer month.  I will display this on my blog for the entire month!  This is very near and dear to my heart.  Two years ago while having a routine mammogram I got that dreaded call.  We have " we have an area of concern" we would like for you to come in to the breast center and have an ultra sound.  Not knowing exactly what that meant I was in shock.  I went in had the ultra sound seemed like for ever all alone with my husband in the waiting room I get moved in to an office where there was a doctor sitting.  She said,  we have found a lump on your left side and about an inch in size.  We don't think it looks like cancer but we want to watch it and have you come back in 6 months.  I waited and prayed, and prayed over that next six months.  Talk about torture over that time.  Low and behold the appointment came around.  They took another mammogram followed buy more picture, followed by 3-d mammogram then an ultrasound again.  Again the whole time by
