Believe, You Inspire Me

Hello everyone! Martha Lucia here to share a CAS card with you. Believe, You inspire Me is the card that I made inspired on December mood board of Kennedy Grace. Today I combined die cuts and stamps to create a Clear and Simple look with a very elegant touch. Take a look at my card: I used Whisper White card stock to create the base and second layer of the card and the stamp set You Inspire Me from Kennedy Grace to stamp the sentiments behind of the die cut flower and the big word Believe. But let me share the process to create the card: Create the card base Sponge the background over the card base using Marina Mist Classic Ink. Stamp the small sentiments over the sponged areas. Cut a second layer using whisper white card stock. Stamp the believe word using Memento Paris Dusk Ink Cut the flower die cut on the center of the second layer Paste the second layer over the card base Cut several layers with the same die cut on whisper white card stock and paste them one ove...

Grateful for our Friendship

Hello friends, it's Jill here on the Kennedy Grace Creations Blog to present a card I made using the Kennedy Grace Creations November Mood Board as my inspiration.  This card is called, Grateful for our Friendship , because life is truly so much better with friends!  It showcases how you can stretch your stamp sets to be used for the holidays even though they are not holiday stamps.  I primarily used the KGC stamp set You Inspire me   to make this card.  I first prepped my card panel with Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink (DOI) by dragging the pad down in vertical stripes to create what looks like a weathered wood panel door.  I then lightly traced a circle the size that I wanted my wreath to be and then used 3 of the small images from the stamp set (small leafy branch x 2, and the 3 dots) to make my wreath.  I used mostly Distress Oxide inks, inking each stamp one color and stamping it around the circle, then changing colors and again s...

Grateful...

Doesn't looking at this just put you in the holiday spirit?  I love mood boards because they are so full of color and texture and wonderful shapes.  They also can stir emotions and feelings that really get those creative juices going.   It's Brenda here today and this is my card and a bit about the creative process that brought it about - Often times my cards are technique driven.  When I saw the wonderful fall colors on the paint chips it made me think of a brayer technique I saw awhile back that I have wanted to try.  I already knew one of the beautiful script words from You Inspire Me would be my center piece. I gathered ink pads from various companies to match the colors in the paint chip.  I used my Spellbinders Tool-in-One with the brayer tip and started laying down the colors.  In keeping with the season of thankfulness,  I heat embossed Grateful with gold embossing powder.  When I saw the door wreath, the c...

Grateful

Hi there everyone!  Welcome to the beautiful month of October!!  I'm kicking off the month with a brand new Mood Board to get your creative juices flowing.  Take a look at this fabulous inspiration picture. Isn't it just gorgeous??  So many things in this picture just jump out at me and it was hard to decide which direction to go.  I chose to work with the Beautiful Blooms-Sweet Rose stamp set.  It's so pretty and verstile!  I stamped the rose image twice on a white piece of cardstock with black ink.  Then I was stumped.  Yep.  Total creative block!  I hate when that happens.  I think the wide open white spaces cause my mind to go blank sometimes.  Anywho, I decided to walk away and come back later. During my break I watched a few YouTube card videos and scoured through Pinterest.  My almost favorite thing to do when I'm not crafting.  Ah ha, I saw something that got me thinking.  I returned to my d...

Believe in your strength, Copic coloring with Grace's Little Notes

Hello cardmaking friends. First off, thank you so much for visiting my blogpost! Today I made a clean and simple floral card with lots of masking and Copic Markers. To begin, I stamped one of the small floral images from the Grace's Little Notes clear stamp set. I then stamped it 3 other times on masking paper and fussy cut them out. I continued stamping, masking each image as I went, until I achieved a bundle of flowers in the lower right hand corner of my card panel. Once the staping was complete, I die-cut the entire panel with the largest of the Stacked Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then used the You Inspire Me stamp set and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx blaxk ink. The sentiment reads 'Believe in your strength.'  I added clear embossing powder to it and heat set until a smooth, shiny, raised finish occured.  Then it was time for the fun part (for me anyways).... coloring!!! I pulled out my Copic markers and decided I wanted to go with pink fl...

Grateful for you Scarecrow Thanksgiving Card

Hello friends. Meg here, with a card just in time for Thanksgiving (in the USA), in a few days. This is a sneak peek of a new scarecrow digital stamp by KGC. The sentiment stamps are from the You Inspire Me clear stamp set. I started off my making a clean and simple background using spray inks. My personal favorite are Heidi Swapp Color Shine and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I used a variety of both to make the organic looking, blue and green background. I then printed my digital stamps from my laser printer. I colored the scarecrow using Copic markers. To add details I used a clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen from Sakura. I then fussy cut the colored imaged and outlined the white edges using my black Tombow Dual Brush Marker. I then heat embossed the sentiment "Grateful for you in my life" using Brass colored embossing powder from Hero Arts. Isn't this sentiment just perfect for the holidays?! I recommend you checking it out as there are multiple saying you ca...
