Sharing a little green

Hi gang!  I wanted to stop by and share a little bit of green with you today.  I keep hoping and wishing for Spring to hurry up and arrive!  I decided to create a little spring inside my craft room.  This card features a lovely little flower bunch from Grace's Happy Hearts .  I colored the flowers with some Zig Clean Color real brush markers and a water brush.  The orginal image was stamped on to Bristol smooth cardstock. I kept the card very simple.  I cut out the flowers with a die from MFT Stamps and used a larger die from the same set to cut out the striped paper.  All of the patterned papers are from the Vivienne paper pad by Basic Grey. For the finishing touch I added 3 sequins from the Lemon Sorbet sequin mix.  And that's it for my card today.  I hope you see some signs of Spring soon! ~Kristina Please be sure to follow the Kennedy Grace Creations blog , facebook , twitter , instagram and pinterest . Just Because Card

Hello, dear friends! Marina is here and I'm going to show you my new flower card inspired by the amazing February Mood Board! I've decided to color gentle flowers from the  Grace's Litlle Note  and used Zig Clean Color markers for it. To make a subtle background for the flowers I toned the cardstock with distress inks, sprinkled it with water a bit and wiped with a napkin. A tiny Just Because sentiment is also from the  Grace's Litlle Note  set. It perfectly fitted white circle frame with flowers. For a delicate accent I picked three clear sequins from the  Leather and Pink lace  and  Frosted Cupcackes mixes. Our wonderful February Moodboard Thanks for stopping by! Be inspired! Please be sure to follow the Kennedy Grace Creations  blog ,  facebook ,  twitter ,  instagram  and  pinterest . Our Design Team has great projects to inspire you with our great stamp sets.  Ple...

Tags abound

Hiya to all the crafty people who are stopping by at the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today.  I'm here with a bit of a treat.  I have LOTS of tags to show you.  The best part is that I'm showing different ways to use the same stamp sets.  I hope this gets you thinking! When I first started on my project the only thing I really had in my mind was that I wanted to make tags and I wanted to use some of the gorgeous Kennedy Grace Creations sequins.  I mean, have you looked at all the different sequins they have available?? Let's dive right in to the first set. Look at all the pretty sequins!  Let's take it tag by tag so I can give you all the details. I started by cutting out a piece of cream colored cardstock with a stitched die.  This was not intended to be a tag but I punched out a hole and instant tag!  I stamped the floral image from Grace's Little Note  and heat embossed it in silver.  I masked it and sponged on Antiq...

Lacy Sunflower Card

Hi everyone, Heidi here, today I have a water coloured card for you all, featuring the beautiful Kennedy Grace Creations “Sunflower“ stamp set . I choose the colours for today's project from this month's moodboard: To get this card started I stamped the sunflower image onto some Strathmore “Bristol Smooth Surface“ card stock using Versafine “Onxy Black“ ink and clear heat embossing afterwards (I always do this when I use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers because this way the lines stay crisp and black, no matter how much water you ad). Next I started colouring the image using the following Clean Color Markers and my Pentel Aquabrush: Yellow, Bright Yellow, Brown, Mid Brown, May Green, Green and Haze Blue. I also added some highlights with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen. After the image was dry I fussy cut her out using my Fiskars scissors. I edged the cut out image with Distress ink in the colour “Tumbled Glass “. Then I started working on the b...

Christmas Cards using KGC Stamps

Hi everyone, Heidi here! Today I woul like to show you these Christmas cards.  Now, maybe you’re thinking: “But KGC doesn’t carry Christmas stamps (yet)!“ That’s true, but today I’ll show you a way to create Christmas cards with their stamps nonetheless.   To get these cards started I stamped one of the flowers stamps from the Kennedy Grace Creations stamp set called “Grace’s Little Note“ three times onto some Strathmore Bristol Smooth Surface paper using Versafine “Onyx Black“ ink and using my MISTI and clear heat embossing afterwards. I used two separate flowers from each stamp print and this way you can create two cards from three stamped flower images.   I also stamped two candles from the Create a Smile stamp set called “With Candles and Glitter“ on the same paper in the same way. If you don’t have a candle stamp you can draw a candle yourself, find a candle image on line and use/trace that or when you would like to go a little mixed media, find cand...

October Mood Board with Christine and Beverly

Hi everyone!  It's Christine here today to share my card which was based on this month's Mood Board.  Here's some beautiful inspiration from this  month's Mood Board: For my card today, I did a video tutorial showing how I mixed my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to paint this beautiful floral image from Kennedy Grace Creations.  Here's my video: To view on YouTube, click  HERE And here are some pictures of my card: To create this card, I stamped the beautiful floral image from the  Friendship Blessings Stamp Set from Kennedy Grace onto some Canson XL watercolor paper.  I then colored it with my Zig Markers (for the petals, I used Brown, Orange, and Yellow, for the greenery, I used Olive Green, and for the shadow around the image, I used Light Blue, and for the dirt at the bottom, I used Brown).   I then added some  Lemon Sorbet Sequins from Kennedy Grace around the image panel.  I then adhered the pane...
