Hello Everyone! It's Sheena Joy from Joy's Studio . Today I am happy to be taking part in the monthly Kennedy Grace Creations Dueling DT's . My fellow Design Team-mate, Cammy , and I are both using  the same stamp set and making our own creation with it. This is what I made: Cammy and I choose the gorgeous Grace's Little Note stamp set : Grace's Little Note I used one of the floral images in the set and. First I gold embossed it, then I colored it in with a wet paint brush and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (Yellow & May Green). I then fussy cut out the image. I made a gold circular frame using stitched circle dies and gold embossing powder. I also gold embossed a leaf die cut (cut from a Technique Tuesday die, Garden Leaves). I placed everything on the front panel as seen in the photo, adding gold thread nested underneath the flower. The hello sentiment is from the same stamp set & was also gold embossed. Kennedy Grac...

Designer Showcase - Vintage Tea Set

    Welcome back for our day 4 of the designer showcase we are featuring the   Vintage Tea Set     Jessica helped design the sequins mix to go with this stamp set.  Love how she paired these to perfectly.  Cammy matched her tea set with the Springtime sequins.  She put few in her cup thought that was cute idea.   I love how Karen made her own background paper out of the tea cup and rose images.  Looks fantastic.  Love the coloring that matches the sequins mix.    On this one Karen did a wonderful job with the purple tea pot.  So soft and pretty.   

Designer Showcase - Beautiful Bloom - Sweet Rose

    Welcome back to day 3 of the designer showcase featuring  Beautiful Bloom - Sweet Rose   Michelle went light blue Sweet Rose image to show how you can just change the colors out can bring fresh life to this stamp.     Love the water colored purple Sweet Rose Monica did just beautiful.   Cindy did this in a yellow which happens to be my favorite color of Roses.   Love how soft the coloring is on this card.  Monica did a beautiful job.   When I saw this card Rachel did I fell in love.  I love how just the white on grey pops.  LOVE IT!! Cindy used the embossed rose in a purple color just is so different from all the others it looks great.   Karen just used the bloom as her focal image.  Love how it pairs beautifully with the stripped pattern paper.    Cammy water colored this Peach colored Rose love this color combination. Designer Showcase - Loving Mom

    Welcome back for day 2 of the designer showcase.  Today we are featuring Loving Mom     Michelle decided to go little out side the box on this one added some hot pink foil card stock and some silver thread behind her floral image.      Love the blue and purple florals Monica added to this embossed panel just gorgeous.   Sheena reached for bright orange and yellow florals.  I love how this is so bright and beautiful.   Love how Jessica colored this images to work perfectly with the red sangria sequins. When I saw this one Jessica made I instantly fell in love the colors! She pulled colors right out of the Springtime sequins.  What a perfect match.   Love the water colored images in this card done by Monica.  So pretty against that pop of blue.   Monica ink blended this stunning blue background adding a pop of pink for her floral.   ...

Designer Showcase - Beautiful Bloom - Hydrangea

    We are on day one of the designer showcase.  We are starting off with  Beautiful Bloom - Hydrangea     Michelle made this beautiful two toned pink version of the Hydrangea isn't it pretty.     Love how Chera did this elegant white embossed Hydrangea on the ink blended background.   Cammy did a pretty purple Hydrangea with some dark centers.   Love how Jessica did these Hydrangea's blue with the yellow centers just perfect match for the At the Beach sequins mix.   Jessica made these Hydrangeas look like you could just walk up to them pick them right off her card. So elegant looking, I think.   Chera did a wonderful job making the Hydrangeas the focal point of this card.   Karen colored these Hydrangea's with her beautiful colored pencils.  They look awesome.   Love how Chera did this one in a beautiful blue.     ...
