Hello everybody! It’s Donna here and I’ve been really enjoying this new-to-me stamp set! It’s called Loving Mom and it has the most beautiful flowers. What a pleasure to colour! I’ve used the same markers to colour all the flowers, but by varying the amounts of the darker markers, and the amount of white space left I’ve been able to get some colour variation, while keeping a very controlled colour palette. Rather than blend the brushstrokes, I’ve chosen to leave the individual strokes showing to give some texture to the petals. Once I’d coloured each of the flowers, I fussy cut them out, right on the black line, and went around the outside with a black marker to stop the white paper showing through. On a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock I ink blended Distress Oxide in Wild Honey, laying it down heavily in the middle and fading out towards the edges of the cardstock. I then glued down the archway which I cut from a die in my stash. I very quickly wove the stem of the back...
