Super quick birthday card

Hi guys!

My theme this month has been quick and easy, cards that take very little time (as I have very little this month, gearing up to move house and country!)

Right, are you ready?? This is another "buckle up coz it's gonna be fast"card:

Step 1: grab coloured card stock. I went with bright and cheerful yellow. Fold into card size you want.
Step 2: run through die cutting machine with a scalloped frame die, just off the top of the card so it doesn't chop it in half.
Step 3: Stamp one of the gorgeous flower stamps from Kennedy Grace Creations in the middle. I went with Beautiful Bloom-Sweet Rose and stamped it in black to make the contrast as big as possible.
Step 4: Die cut a frame of black (or other colour if you fancy it) card stock and add around the flower to frame it prettily.
Step 5: Add sentiment. I used a die cut word and stamped another one to make it say 'Happy Birthday'. Again, I used black to keep it simple but elegant.
Step 6: Add embellishments if you feel it needs it. I decided against it to challenge myself to make a clean and simple card, something that isn't really my forte.
Step 7: Write your greeting and post it! Done!!

Phew, is anyone else sweaty? I sometimes get so excited about crafting my heart races. Surely that counts as cardio then??

Happy crafting from Erica and see you on the other side in a few weeks!

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
