Yikes its nearly December and I am so not ready for christmas.   Hi its Karen up on the blog today. This year has been so very busy and gone so very fast and yes its true christmas is coming.  In an effort to get that very real thought in my head I made a christmas card.  This little cutie is from is aimed at being a little sneak of things to come from Kennedy Grace. Hi, Rachel here with another card using the gorgeous Splendid Roses stamp set! (If you can't tell, it's one of my very favorites!) I recently just went through a huge move and it totally sapped all my creativity. To get back into the swing of things, I decided to do a little simple watercoloring to get those creative juices flowing. Fortunately for me, this image makes any coloring look amazing! I started my card by cutting a panel using a stitched edge die and then I used my MISTI to stamp my image in the upper left corner in Versamark ink. I heat embossed it in some Copper embossing powder. It's not my usual choice, but I wanted to use some vintage colors and I thought it would work really well. Next, I lined up my sentiment and stamped it in Versamark and heat embossed in the same Copper powder. I used three different yellows on my roses to get the shading and dimension that I wanted. Hi guys! Erica back on the blog today with quite a quick card. Quick but elegant if I may say so myself! Although, there were a fair few fails and 'oh, shoot!' moments along the way. This actually looks nothing like what I first had in mind. I was going to do a skinny panel with the flower as focus and have glittery card stock or washi tape on one side for contrast. When I went to trim the piece of card stock I had stamped and coloured the  Splendid Rose  stamp on, I accidentally trimmed off a sliver of the flower! Talk about #EpicFail... To cover up this boo-boo, I decided to cut the image out a little bit instead. I started out leaving a border around the flower and thought I'd place it so the bit I had cut off using the trimmer would be on the edge of the card. Well, it was a good cover up plan but I managed to mess up again. Yep, it really wasn't my day... Hello friends. Meg here, with a card just in time for Thanksgiving (in the USA), in a few days. This is a sneak peek of a new scarecrow digital stamp by KGC. The sentiment stamps are from the You Inspire Me clear stamp set. I started off my making a clean and simple background using spray inks. My personal favorite are Heidi Swapp Color Shine and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I used a variety of both to make the organic looking, blue and green background. I then printed my digital stamps from my laser printer. I colored the scarecrow using Copic markers. To add details I used a clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen from Sakura. I then fussy cut the colored imaged and outlined the white edges using my black Tombow Dual Brush Marker. I then heat embossed the sentiment "Grateful for you in my life" using Brass colored embossing powder from Hero Arts. Isn't this sentiment just perfect for the holidays?! Hi its Karen on the blog today  and I am sharing a card using two Kennedy Grace Creations stamp sets, Graces Happy Heart and You Inspire Me. I stamped several blooms onto a piece of card and coloured them using Derwent Coloursoft pencils, before die-cut the fishtail banners.  Its another way to stretch those stamps and use them a little differently.  I added some sequins and beads from Isabella's Dream mix to finish off. Hello! Rachel here today with a beautiful (no coloring!) card using the Splendid Roses stamp set. I've been trying to come up with card ideas that don't involve a whole lot of coloring recently. I know that not everyone likes to color or has time for it and I wanted to give some examples of how to use these beautiful stamps without coloring. For this card, I stamped my image repeatedly on a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock in Versamark ink and then heat embossed in Clear embossing powder. It creates a great texture with some fun shine! I cut my thanks die out of some Fog Gray card stock and then adhered it directly to my panel using some Multi Medium Matte to make sure it stayed in place over the texture from the embossing. I used some Be Creative double sided tape to adhere my panel to a white card base. The double sided tape makes sure it stays in place even though the panel was a little warped from my heat gun. Hello, Erica here with a quick card and a short post today. Not like me I know, but I am so tired these days as I'm adjusting to a ne gym routine and clean eating. Let me tell you, this healthy living stuff isn't for the faint-hearted...! Let's get to business shall we? I have been on a bit of a roll with ink blending recently and I had an idea I wanted to try out which involved ink blending colours and stamping a flower on top. Kind of like reverse colouring, sort of. For this card I decided to use the  Beautiful Bloom-Sunflower  stamp because it also has a lovely sentiment about kindness which I wanted to use. November is usually a month of generosity and spreading kindness so it was a no-brainer really. When I do ink blending I always use water colour paper, it just glides on so much easier than normal card stock/paper and if you want to splatter water droplets on it after to get that lovely dotty effect, it doesn't warp the paper either.
