Hello, everyone! Rachel here with you today. I disappeared for a couple of weeks due to a death in the family, but I'm back and creating again. It feels good to get inky!
Today's card was inspired by my great grandmother (who is actually still with us at 101 years old!). She absolutely loves yellow flowers of all kinds. I find myself reaching for my yellows whenever I'm coloring beautiful florals because of her.
I started my card by cutting and folding a white card base and then stamping my image from Grace's Little Notes across the bottom 2/3. I set that aside and then cut a panel using a Stitched Scallop Edge die. I stamped my image one more time on the panel and then stamped my sentiment. I used my Copics to color my flowers. (Y000, Y00, Y04, and Y08 for the petals. YG00, YG01, YG13, and YG17 for the leaves. E55 and E57 for the stems. C00, C01, and C03 for the halo surrounding the image.) I adhered my panel on top of the base with some foam tape and it was done! Easy-peasy, but also beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by!
