Hello, Beverly Jordan, here for today's post.
Today's post is using the Kennedy Grace Creations Grace's Little Note. So many images are great to compliment another larger image, but today I am going to use this often overlooked one, to make a simple card. One that have intended for a dear friend.
First, I loved how fast and easy it was to use this particular image to make a square card, or even to use it to frame another image. I used my MISTI tool to align the stamp for this 4 1/2 inch square center piece, and then just fliped it for each side, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. The sentiment was from the Time to Blossom stamp set. It is a sweet and thoughtful card and I plan on making more. Great to send to friends far and near. The Sequins were Enchanted Evening which is a collection of sparkly sequins, stars, seed beads in green tones, and gold, and was the perfect compliment of to the violet colors.
Here are the Copic Sketch markers I used: YG06, YG11, YG13, V12, V15, V17, 0.
Once colored I chose a complementary violet-purple cardstock to bring out more of the deeper violet colors in the flowers. The white paper used for the image and card base are Nenah Bright White #110 pound paper. I added the ribbon to soften the card and bring a feminine touch to it.
A card with these pretty flowers and this sweet and thoughtful sentiment is perfect for so many occasions and will delight whomever receives it. For this reason, I plan on making many more of them. Hope you enjoy it as well.
Yours truly,
Beverly Jordan
