My take on the Kennedy Grace November Mood Board

Hi everyone its Karen with you today sharing my take on the November Kennedy Grace mood board.

Have you seen it?  There's so much inspiration to choose from.  Just in case here is another look.  The colours are just so lush and pretty.

I chose the colours and the wreath as my inspiration and using the new stamp set called Kindness Medley I created my wreath.  I used a die cut as my base and to form the shape I wanted to use.  I then stamped and coloured my flowers using pencil before cutting them out close to the edge.  They are popped up on foam tape for some added dimension.  The "kindness is a beautiful thing" stamp is from the same set, simple stamped in the centre of the wreath.  I added some pearls and glitter with little loops of silver string to give a little more interest to the card.

My backing card stock is a subtle woodgrain to resemble a door on which the wreath is hanging.

I hope you will join in and use the mood board to create your next project.  Thanks for your visit today.

Love and Laughter,

Don't you just love the beautiful Fall colors in this pic! Here's what I've made for you today:

I stamped the flower from the Just A Rose stamp set with Memento London Fog using second generation stamping (for no-line coloring) and colored with Copics YR68, Y38, Y35 and YR31 for orange and YG67, YG63, YG61 and YG03 for green. I stamped and embossed the same flower with Wow! White pearl on black cardstock of size 4" x 5.5". I stamped the sentiment from the same set with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade (stamped twice) and fussy cut it. I inked the left edge of the top folding A2 card base with the DI Spiced Marmalade and adhered the black panel on it. I mounted the rose with foam tape and adhered the sentiment with Sc…
