December Mood Board

Its Karen with you on the blog today and I am sharing with you my card inspired by the December Mood Board.  Its utterly gorgeous.  Lots of blues and silver with a touch of camel to get your creativeness going.  Be sure to look around the blog for lots of gorgeous projects from the rest of the Talented Design Team.  Just incase you want another look here is the mood board.

For my card I used the colour scheme of various shades of blues with a touch of camel and silver.  I also took inspiration from the decoration in the bottom left corner.  I stamped  the Beautiful Bloom Hydrangea onto a scrap of card and coloured it in pencil.  I then cut the tag placing the image where I wanted it before stamping my sentiment.

I cut another tag in a contrasting colour to place behind the tag with the image.  The ribbon is threaded through the tag and tied in place with some camel coloured hemp cord.  The top tag is popped up on foam for some dimension.  The final touch was to scatter some Moonbeam sequins to add some silver and some sparkle.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects using the same mood board, and then maybe create something of your own.

Hello everyone! It's Berina here and welcome to my first post on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog. I'm here to inspire you to create something with our beautiful Mood board for October. In case you haven't seen it yet, here it is:

Don't you just love the beautiful Fall colors in this pic! Here's what I've made for you today:

I stamped the flower from the Just A Rose stamp set with Memento London Fog using second generation stamping (for no-line coloring) and colored with Copics YR68, Y38, Y35 and YR31 for orange and YG67, YG63, YG61 and YG03 for green. I stamped and embossed the same flower with Wow! White pearl on black cardstock of size 4" x 5.5". I stamped the sentiment from the same set with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade (stamped twice) and fussy cut it. I inked the left edge of the top folding A2 card base with the DI Spiced Marmalade and adhered the black panel on it. I mounted the rose with foam tape and adhered the sentiment with Sc…
